Iowa City Experimental Film Festival this week

Screenings of films in competition begin Thursday, October 9^th and run through Saturday October 11^th, at several locations in downtown Iowa City.

Tuesday, October 7, 10:00 PM – The Picador
HOME MOVIES – Local movies scored live by local musicians
Events kick off on Tuesday at the Picador with the live music + movies event, HOME MOVIES. You’re invited to bring 5-10 minutes of your film or video and have it scored live on the spot by the area’s best musicians. If want to make some noise, contact chris@thepicador.com or info@icefilmfest.org to get on the roster. Registration is at 9:00, event begins at 10:00, and is free, though you can support the festival with a donation if you wish.
