Jill Greenberg: The Manipulator

Jill Greenberg has recently come under a lot of flack for her manipulated photographs of John McCain during the campaign. She pretty much shot her chances of ever working commercially again.  You can't find many of these pictures now, only in thumbnails. But it brings up a lot of issues of artists in the community. 

She is also really well know for her photographs of crying children. They are perfectly manipulated and supposed to represent these sad state of the world. I think her work brings up a lot of issues about the responsibility of the artist.
